That Is What We Are

I've been waiting to unleash this. I don't see any reason to wait longer. For Wednesday, enjoy:

This is quite honestly one of my favorite songs of all time. No foolin'!

Hmm, there seems to be some element of greatness here I can't put my finger on. Their chemistry? It's so clearly contrived and yet it doesn't' feel that way(?). It's interesting to me that such a hokey song can transcends. Maybe it's just me. I loved it. "I set out to get you with a fine tooth comb..." hmm hmm hmmmm...

That element of greatness is the Bee Gees.

Thank you, that made my morning! It's such a happy song, and Dolly's giggle in the middle just makes the video. As does her wig. And Kenny's perfectly feathered hair.

God, I hope this could indeed be the year for the real thing.

I love this song -- I think Dolly can elevate anything. Have you heard her cover of that Collective Soul song, Shine? "Teach me how to sing/ teach me how to share/ Show me will love be there ..." ?It's not even the same song anymore after she's done with it.

Thanks for posting this, I have the will to live now!
